I consider it a privilege to have known Peter. I consider it an honor to be his daughter (we dropped the “in-law” part long before I was technically an “in-law”). And I consider it a most devastating tragedy that he was taken from us six days ago.
I cherish the moments I shared with Peter. And I wish there could be more. He was a man of deep compassion, utmost sincerity, profound intellect and impeccable wit. I admired his ability to effortlessly transition from humorous quips to insightful wisdom.
Peter was a man of great strength; he persevered through the most difficult circumstances. He has left an amazing legacy, with his family, friends, students, colleagues and community. Well done, faithful one. Well done.
